Spotlight on Asia

East Asia, sometimes known as the Far East, was one of the earliest documented world civilizations. China dominated the region for centuries and influenced the religion, writing systems, technology and cuisine of its neighbours up until the 19th century and the arrival of Western powers. The area was divided and subsequently devastated by several wars and many years of turmoil. The latter part of the 20th century saw this fascinating and diverse region reinvent itself as one of the most prosperous and technologically advanced areas of the world.

Air Canada now offers service to nine destinations in Eastern Asia. Our schedules are timed to provide excellent connections via our hubs in Vancouver, Montreal, Calgary and Toronto:

Vancouver Beijing Daily
Hong Kong Daily
