Update for Brussels airport
Air Canada check-in in Brussels has relocated back to the main terminal following a temporary relocation resulting from the incidents that occurred last month. If you are travelling from Brussels, it is recommended that you arrive at the airport at least 180 minutes prior to departure to account for potentially lengthy queues due to security screening required to gain access to check-in. Check-in counters may only be reached upon presentation of an itinerary receipt or a boarding pass. Air Canada check-in counters open 180 minutes prior to departure.

Longer security wait times in USA
U.S. Transportation Security Administration (TSA) security checkpoint lines may be longer than normal this spring and summer due to procedural changes. You are advised to arrive at the airport two hours before your flight, if you are departing in the early morning or evening, where wait times for screening may be up to one hour. Members of known traveller programs, such as NEXUS or Global Entry, may experience normal wait times.

Delta To Use RFID To Track Bags
Delta Air Lines is deploying radio frequency identification (RFID) baggage-tracking technology, a first for U.S. carriers, to provide customers with real-time tracking of luggage throughout their trips.

RFID has been used for years in many industries and applications, from the NoGo tags that prevent shoplifting to EZPasses for paying highway tolls. It will replace barcode hand scanning, which has been the industry standard since the early 90s.

At Delta, RFID scanners will use radio waves to capture highly accurate and consistent data stored on RFID chips embedded in the luggage tag. Push notifications to the Fly Delta mobile app will let customers know when their bags are on and off the aircraft beginning in the fourth quarter this year.
